Mall Girl is a lightweight free-to-play dress-up game made for quick mobile sessions.
Mall Girl was one of the earliest mobile titles I worked on. The design goal was to create a low scope, casual game project that could carer to an underserved female market, while still having some revenue upside.

I was the sole designer from concept to launch. I owned concept validation, economy balance and core systems.
The design focus was to support the core fantasy of a large, fashionable wardrobe and to keep the core mechanics as simple as possible. I studied the target market to ensure an understand of not only the mechanics and art styles of successful games in the space but also, real world clothes and brands that were trendy at the time.
This was Small Tree Media's most successful product, becoming an Apple App Store Top 10 Grossing game in 46 countries.
